Learning to Code is hard
And I hate it
Let me just cut to the chase: I hate learning how to code. It fucking sucks. And I honestly have no idea at all. You see, the problem isn't the languages, it's how we learn it. Anyone can learn HTML and CSS, but JavaScript is a whole different story.
The language is fine, but where's the roadmap? For example, I am someone who just who just learned HTML and CSS, now where do I start with JavaScript? Do I learn vanilla? Do I start with a framework? Do I just jump ahead to React? Fuck it, do I learn Angular? See, when you search it up, you get so many different varying responses. Someone tells you to start with vanilla, make an app on there and then slowly learn some other framework. Whilst, someone else might say to learn the bare minimum of JavaScript and learn Express. They might even say go straight to React! It's so confusing, and there are so many tutorials.
I personally tried to look into Express, and I had no clue what was happening. I was learning JavaScript in the command line, and it was fairly good, but when I jumped to learning Express(which I was recommended by someone), I had no clue what was happening, and to be honest, I still don't know.
As far as I've looked, there is no real "complete" tutorial for being a web developer. But, if you know, please @me on twitter. FreeCodeCamp is fine, but their teaching method is pretty bad and also quite outdated, but if I'm being honest, everything is outdated in the world of JavaScript, because it is a very fast moving language.
So, TL;DR, I hate learning how to code. I don't know where to start and I have no clue what I'm. But if you do, please please please help me ðŸ˜. So many people have great ideas that could make a billion dollar company, but they are being held back because they can't code.
